This is how I interpreted it as well.
He did shit on the NRA, but in fairness, NAACP has been anti gun for so long this is a big change.
MSI tried pulling the NAACP into the 2013 session. They were interested but hesitant. Glad they are there. Hope one of the groups reaches out to him.

Someone mentioned they were rewriting it. I suspect that bill is fait accompli.
"A" bill is probably a fait accompli in this election year. What's actually in it and how harmful it is may still be TBD.
