AR or AK

assume the following story has no holes in it and take the poll at face value.

so the S just hit the F. you've got a bag full of thousands of rounds of 7.62, and another bag full of 5.56. You've got your AR and your AK but you can only choose one gun and one bag, what's it gonna be?

note:either gun is optimally outfitted with whatever accessories you desire.

AR hands down. It's easier to control the recoil, more accurate, it's more ergonomic, and I am better trained and more familiar with it.

You could go with a 5.56 AK, and a 7.62x39 AR.

an optimally setup AK in 7.62 can have the recoil of a 5.56 and be accurate enough at 300 yards to take out a man. i love my ARs, but all the ******** on them requires batteries. an AK with the right sight combo and a folding stock...perfect.

AR, it's lighter and more accurate. I would be curious to see a census of how many AR vs AKs are owned in the states though

The ar-15 ,,, I wanna hit my target . I have ar's and ak's you could abuse the ak all day ,,, but the ar is way more accurate ... I love them both but I'd have to take the ar-15... I'd take my mini -14 over the ak as well.
