So I read on the interwebs that one may be able to use CZ-75 magazines in a Sub-2000 that takes metal mags and not glock. Most Sub-2000's are shipped setup for beretta 92FS mags. Which is what I purchased. You can contact Kel-Tec to get a different mag catch for free. It turns out the the notch for the Sig mag catch also lines up with CZ-75 mags.

Swapped the part out today and hit the range. All my CZ-75 mags worked :D 1 mag was a factory pre-B and the 3 were Mec-Gar's

IIRC in 9mm they take Beretta 92, SIG P226, Glock 17, and S&W 59 series pistols. As far as .40 cal i'm assuming the same 4 pistols just in .40. I had a buddy that had a Sub2K in Glock 22 mags

Mine is 9mm, no idea if the trick works with the 40.

    from Kel-tec:

    The 9mm SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK17, GLK19, S&W59, BERETTA92, SIG226.

    The .40 SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK22, GLK23, BERETTA96, S&W4006, SIG226.

Ya I just wish they would make a .357 sig one to go with one of my favorite shooting rounds.

:sad53: I wished they made one for the SR9 clips.

I bet a machinist could make an adapter for one. As long as the mag catch is in the range of S&W59, BERETTA92, SIG226.

It's just a metal adaptor about 3/4"long with the catch located to correspond with the different mags. I'll take a pic of the one I removed.

Thanks Jim. I just came that conclusion too reading on the KTOG forums...

There's probably a few thousand people who would love to get their hands on your Glock mag Sub2K. I suspect you could probably sell yours for more than you paid for it and get the Sig version at NOVA Armament. Just a thought.

I just ordered the "Beretta" model in .40 hoping to add the SIG mag catch and convert to use my .40 CZ 75b magazines.

I will take some photos once I have the rifle and magazines in hand. I did verify that the mags for the .40 fit properly in my 9mm CZ - if the Beretta 92 mags fit in the Beretta 96 mag well and the 9mm and .40 SIG pistols catch when swapped, then I suspect the CZ mags will interchange as well.

    Here's knocking on wood!
