I give that till the end of it's first range trip, which will be a short one, before that end-cap is missing.
Maybe the rail peeling open too.
I agree, seems like a grenade waiting to happen.

That's if he doesn't lay it on the train tracks because he can't hit sh!t with that short sight radius.
I wanna see him try some 600m shots with that MaTech BUIS. EDIT: ON A FVCKING RISER. FFS
I hope that's intentional trolling...

thanks for the ar 308 info just finishing up on my first ar 15 pistol. waiting for the trigger group.
So general consensus here is that this is legal? I was just told by my gun shop that it is 100% illegal to build a pistol. Even from a virgin lower. I'm calling BS, but who am I to judge?
Not consensus, as the law is currently written - Legal (to the best of my understanding).
Your gun shop needs to do some more reading on the subject. It'd be illegal for a MD resident to offer one for sale in the state of MD.
Thought so. The shop told me no, not legal at all, considered a "assault pistol." As long as I'm using a virgin lower, which I am, and it's registered as other, it's legal.

HANDGUN ROSTER BOARD
Within the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, the Handgun Roster Board was created in 1988 (Chapter 533, Acts of 1988). In 1995, the Board became part of the Department of State Police (Chapter 3, Acts of 1995).
In Maryland, it is illegal to sell or offer for sale a handgun manufactured after January 1, 1985, that is not on the Handgun Roster.
Is this the only thing that is in writing on the topic? I don't ever plan to sell any of my guns. Is there a law in writing specifically stating that it is legal for me to assemble a pistol AR?
Okay, so who are you guys using to transfer these lowers? Or have the laws changed? I was just told NO by the second shop this week.
