Nice Kev!! I picked you as a blk rifle man, didn't know you have some nice shotties

    Noel,
I can hold my own shooting skeet, sporting clays, and live birds. I took quite a few deer with that little 870 as well. ;)

    Whoa! Don't get crazy now...

    Who am I kidding? I haven't met a shotgun I didn't like.

Neither have I. Travis had this nasty ancient single barrel Baikal with a hard plastic buttplate.....I think this was the gun that initiated the term "boomstick"......Action was tight, trigger was smooth, but it kicked like two mules.

    Yeah, I liked it.

    I didn't know that was a Russian Shottie...cool!

I was checking it out because it kinda looked like a NEF Pardner.....saw "Made in USSR" on the barrel....when he was pointing out the buttplate, it said "Baikal' on it.

Looked a hell of a lot more solid than the Baikals that Remington are putting on the market these days.

Funny, that's what I call my Baikal. Even more amusing when you consider the original "Boomstick" was a Remington.

I know, it barely makes sense. I'm off to bed.

    yes....they make Saiga!

    thanks for the info

You got me wondering...had to go find out. The one Travis had looked like it had a few years on it, but from what I can find the style is still being made. I liked the neat break open lever under the trigger guard....a lot faster than one up top.
