    anybody know a good company to put up one of those stone fronts on part of the front of a house in harford county

    need to take off the vinyl siding and put it up

    even considered the fake stone - anybody have it done?

    something I've been thinking about doing for a while

    That dry stack architectural (faux) stone is awesome. Probably $5,000 (faux stone) for what you see in the pics if it's actually faux stone and not some veneer.

    Sorry, no help. The hardscape guy I know sold his own business last year.

    The second picture looks like a dumb design - not the stone work but the roof they built. It would look a lot better if they would have taken the stonework straight up on both sides to the roof line and then built the roof on the same pitch to tie it into the existing roof. Looks like some sort of steeple that would make more sense on a church...

    I don't think you need a mason for that stuff. If I am reading it right it comes in plastic sheets or panels. Maybe I am wrong.


    edit: just looked at installation video, it is glued on.
