South Carroll Sporting Goods (SCSG) will be there and able to handle any transfer needs for you. Might also have some of those pesky Glock things some of ya are looking for...:D

There is another smaller show just up Route 15 and a few miles East this up coming weekend, that was pretty good last time I was there. I sure that they would like to see some more attendees. Last time I was there, there was a dealer that would do transfers of long guns for Maryland residents, from the private sellers.
Click on the map, on the link below, to see the location in Bonneauville, take the Hanover Rd. (116) exit, East to a right on Elm St.
Don't go to the Elm St. address in downtown Gettysburg, it's somebody's house.

Will be there bright and early on Saturday.

I will have my MDS pin proudly displayed. Look for me. Likely will have a Liberty High blue cap on, and will likely be hovering by the "magpul lady's" setup.

Jon, are you going to have ammo with you? Would love to meetup and get the Ny Mil that will be required to feed my Ruger PC Carbine.

Only have 2k 124g on me, if you need more I can try to get to storage tonight.

SCSG will be there, look for our Yellow banner towards the middle of the hall. Lots of ammo at blowout prices, and all kinds of pistol and rifle magazines!

Show report. FYI, I was not looking for guns so I didn't handle any. There were four people selling powder, primers and bullets. Not all had the same amount and definitely not the same prices. The dealer on the left side, about third isle up, must think his powder and primers have gold in them. He wanted $35 and up for powder and $31 and up for primers. I found the 1680 I needed for $25.

There are plenty of AR parts around but many are bogus Chinese copies. I would advise you not to buy there if you can't tell the difference. One difference anyone can see is the Chinese Magpul knockoffs at about the middle of the right side. They are pretty bad.

There are plenty of milsurps for those that want them including Enfields, Mausers, Mosins and CZ82's. I didn't check any prices.

For you guys who shoot Black Powder, a guy on the right about three rows up was selling Pyrodex for $17.50 a pound. Too bad we can't keep more than five pounds or I may have bought five or so. :innocent0

Funny, when I got home I found that some evil 300 BO Magpuls had found their way to my back pack along with one of those drum thingies. For those interested, the second isle on the right had a guy selling such things at 2 for $25.

It was a good show but there is getting to be more open space every time I go. Nothing like the empty shows in MD but they are starting to shrink.

    Enjoy

Thanks for the haul of Mags. Nothing like driving from CC to Gettysburg to buy mags from a CC dealer.

Just got back as well. Here is my shopping report!

Looked for JohnFromMD didn't see you!!!!! I had my MDS name tag on. No one said boo to me.

My goal was mags. Saw lots of ARs, and the usual stuff. Wasn't really shopping for guns so didn't compare prices. One item I did see was the Ruger PC Carbine. Most had it at 500+.

They are Sub $475 now and can be found for $400 if you look hard enough.

Magpul Woman had 27 round PMAG9s for $17.50 if you bought two. So I did. Also wanted a Magpul drum thingy as well, so picked one up for $100.

One of my BX25s has started jamming again, so bit the bullet and picked up another one for $22 at the Ruger dealer there. Others had it for $25+.

Lastly, found AmmoJon at the show, and executed a 1000 round 9mm transaction out of the back of his car, for price published on his page. What a heck of a nice guy to stop browsing at the show and get my ammo needs taken care of!

Will re-iterate what JohnFromMD indicated, LOTS OF JUNK. Knockoff Glock mags were everywhere. Some I had to turn over to see they weren't factory. I trust the Magpul stuff but that is where my non-factory purchases end.

Was there from 1130 to 1230 or so... looked to be on par with past shows, but still way too 'knifey'

    ;)

Said hey to the folks at South Carroll, but didn't notice anyone else there with MDS colors.

Finally found a Hi-Point 3895 for the Missus' birthday tomorrow! Was $275 from the folks on the back wall, shop name is Bri's (never heard of them). Didn't blink at a Maryland buyer. If anyone is looking for Hi-Point accessories, they match Hi-Point's web prices.

Believe it or not, I went there to buy 10rd. mags.! Couldn't find any locally for the 6.5 Grendel but, the mag. guy had them. Picked up the ammo I was looking for in Gettysburg. Ran into several friends while at the show. It is probably a good thing that I didn't take a lot of cash with me because I found something I want to add to the collection. The condition was there and I did get their business card so, it may still wind up costing me. The show was pretty busy, a lot more than the last one I went to. Buyer beware though, some prices were good and some were not, especially if you know the current market values. It was a good show for me.
