I'm considering using a PSA upper for my ongoing AR build and I was wondering how everyone is liking theirs. I'm leaning towards one of their FN barreled uppers.

    Thoughts? Experiences?

Great barrel and a company with strong customer service. I wouldn't mind having one of their M4 or 20" uppers.

If they get the 20" FNHF barrels back in stainless I am probably going to use one for my Spikes pirate lower build.

I just finished up a zombie lower on a Kies upper and am taking it out this weekend to see how it does. I suspect i might need a more robust buffer with the 7.62*39.

Every manufacturer can has QC assembly issues. Although these were pretty bad ones they did not make the firearm dangerous and PSA took gook care of the customer.

I got the hammer forged 20" FN upper. Fit and finish were excellent. Only put 50 rounds through it so far but I was pleased with the operation and accuracy. They make a nice upper.

For anybody that has ordered a PSA upper, can you please tell me how its packaged? I'm getting ready to order to finally finish a Spikes lower I bought in a group buy here long ago. But i'm worried about the shipping. I won't be home to take the delivery and I could send it to the office, but don't want to do that if the package makes it absolutely clear what it is.

    Thanks in advance.

They're pretty discreet. It's a bigass brown box and inside the box is a pretty nice box for the upper which has PSA on the side.

As mentioned above, they come in cardboard box with support inside, which is stuffed into another plain cardboard box. There's nothing to tell you what it is, side from the return label, which IIRC says "Palmetto State Armory" but it's in very small lettering.
