Has anybody seen or received an atf determination letter as to the removal of the pin in the back of the receiver, under the rear sight on the SP5K pistol? Without removing it, an unmodified full auto bolt carrier can't just be dropped in place of the semi.
The semi auto shelf and every other aspect of the receiver would remain unmodified, title 1, semi auto. The pin is new territory for the HK platform though. I just don't want to grind it off and get busted for making an unregistered post sample machine gun. Kind of like you would for removing the blocking bar on an Uzi.
