Ok so I am liking my new Glock...put another few hundred through it and nothing but accurate reliability is what you get...love it! Here are my plastic toys...and yes I do love my PX4 as well but have to say I would grab the Glock first in crunch time. Both sporting sweet Streamlights...

Yup Glock 19 gen 4 with Streamlight Tlr-3 and full size Beretta PX4 in 9mm with Tlr-1s. For just simplicity and grab and go love the Glock now.

I have a Glock 17 Gen 2. (Checkered grip, no finger grooves)

I got it in 1990 or thereabouts. I was an early plastic gun adopter, ridiculed by some, but in the end it was 100% the best purchase I ever made.

It has never jammed or malfunctioned with the original factory mags. (It has with the 33 rounders. I give it a pass on that, as they didn't exist when I bought it...Plus they were new....)

It doesn't have a front rail mount, and is very basic and simple.

I can operate the mag release as a lefty.

I took it to one of the Bollinger's shoots, and Robert offered to "smooth it out", as newer one's apparently have a sharper recoil. I let him shoot it and he said, "NOTHING wrong with this....".

It is the one gun I would honestly trust my life with, if could only have one.

It will never part company with me, until my will dictates.

I just picked up my first Glock yesterday. A Gen 3 21SF. I won't have a chance to shoot it until I get back from the beach on the 27th though. :sad20:

I also bought an OD Gen 3 19 while I was there.

I think my wife is talking to a lawyer. :D

    Cool...have fun at the range.

This was my first Glock but i have owned a pistol for over 20 years. Once you get used to the trigger break they are surprisingly accurate. I was pleasantly surprised! Wish i had bought one sooner:thumbsup:
