Went the the outdoor show in Harrisburg today. Was looking to get two recurves, but Lancaster archery only had one we had been interested in. Soooooo I get it for my wife for valentines. Samick Sage 35 pound pull. Something I could even shoot and I should have stopped there but........
Friend we took had intentions of getting a compound for her birthday. We found her a mission craze with package at a great price. Cool finish with black and white "mist", arrow rest, quiver, sights, stabilizer. Nice set up.
Then I made my fatal error, I saw a mission riot and tried it out. Ended up with a black finish, sight, and arrow rest (whisker biscuit). Opted out of the quiver and stabilizer. I'm happy with the deal, only about 50 more than the list on the bow alone after tax.
I'll grumble for a few days about how I shouldn't have spent the money, but O'well. Anyone got suggestions on good arrows for such a bow?
