I just picked up a life membership for $325. My age might have had something to do with the low cost.

Thank you. I started my life membership payment plan back in December.

I got the connection through an acquaintance. The person in question works for NRA; I just emailed him to see how he felt about my posting/PMing his contact info. When I get the word, I'll let youall know.

Randy Clark indicated I could post his info. He has a $375 Life Member option available for the over-65 set. His email is RClark(at)nrahq.org. Of course you'll have to replace the (at) with @.

I nra tried to get me to apply for a visa that doesn't offer any cash back benefits or great interest rates ( other than 0% for the first year)

They get all the benefits when I purchase something. I said no thanks

Thanks Bob. I'm under 65 (for a little while yet) so this is a no go for me. Hopefully, others will be able to take advantage of it though.

Here's an idea: call the local NRA headquarters and negotiate a lower price. It only costs a phone call and some of your time.

Been EPL for 3 years. When I signed up it was $1000 deal.

After making a few attempts over the past few months and hanging up after excessive hold times, I called the NRA again today. Failure was not an option. Took waiting on hold for around 40 minutes, before I got a real person. I asked them to adjust my EPL membership to the current $500 offer, which they immediately took care of. I then paid off the remaining balance due.

Now they can hit me up for the ILA.

Ok for all of those who took advantage of this, what does your membership say. Mine says Annual Member but goes out 20 years.....

This doesnt seem correct. i have sent two emails, no response...
