Launching our new H2H Self Defense Course Jan 20!

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!

Brace for IMPACT!



We are pleased to introduce DDC's NEW hand to hand self defense course:

IMPACT:

I: Intense
M: Modern
P: Practical
A: Applications of
C: Combative
T: Tactics

Lear and practice self defense concepts that are intense, modern, and practical, with training methods designed to simulate real-life scenarios and various types of threats. IMPACT is a fun, strenuous, and educational way to learn self defense as well as improve physical and mental conditioning. Is Matt leading this one? I trained a little with him at KM in Columbia back in the day and always wanted to get more into working with someone who understood both sides of the firearms/HTH thing.

Of course, KM doesn't let us mere civilians do any of the fun stuff.

You'll find this is more along the lines of Israeli style combative. But the main focus of these courses will be experiencing combatives in a real world, "non gym" situation. For example folks are encouraged to wear clothing they wear to work everyday (even suits and skirts etc) and will learn to fight around common obstacles like tables and chairs etc.

So it's more of a hit and run then stay and neutralize the threat.

it's more like hit until the threat can't get up to chase you, and then run hahaha

we will also occasionally incorporate rough natural elements in the training. ie rain, snow, ice, mud etc.
