An old codger I know (relative - sort of) on the eastern shore pulled boxes of P-38s out to show me last time I was at his farm. He must of had 3 dozen of them, most of them from the 40s. Very cool.

Walther is headquarted in Ulm Germany. I have stayed in Ulm on business about 10 times in the last few years. Always wanted to go check it out and never have. Maybe next time.

Hey, fellas. Not a handgun guy for the most part, BUT, I have a chance to buy a Walther PPK/9mmkurz/380 ACP, by Interarms, out of Alexandria Virginia, serial A061***. Has a 3" stainless steel finish, two mags, owners manual and is in the plastic box. Looks brand new, with the black plastic grips. Owner says make him a fair offer. He paid $439 for it in 1993 and it hasn't been shot but the 2 shots he put through it when he bought it. Looks just like the pic Jmintzer posted. Any advice about a fair price? Thanks for anything.

I'd check on gunbroker and see what used ones are going for.

But if I was to guess, about $300-$350...

I recently picked up my Walther PP German Police trade in to add to my Walther family. Very clean, great bore it looks to be carried alot and shot little based on the holster wear.

    Some of mine

Here are a few from my collection. I really like the classic Walther designs and the Bond connection isn't bad either. I agree that the P5 is a fine pistol and one that I shoot well with.

I really love the style of these guns, someday I will get one that works well! Below are the Waltherish guns I have had.

The PPK (S&W) has since been divested in trade to a dealer on a lever gun, it was really ammo finiky and a marginally reliable gun doesnt stay with me long. It probably could have been tweaked ok.

The FEG was similar, reliable on FMJ but no go with HP, since divested it was a sweet awesome condition gun.

The Mak is a Bulgy and my first handgun and I still have it.

When I have cash in my pocket and come across a good German made Walther PP or PPK I will probably dive in again.

Somehow I had missed this thread before!

Time to add to the porn. Here is my new PPQ 9mm. Really like the gun, very nice shooter, IMHO.

Really like those PPKs that you guys have posted. One of these days I'll get my hands on one.
