LOL - It doesn't take a regular BCG. The Carrier is one piece machined carrier and oprod.

If you paid $300 for a BCG, you paid too much

I am not an AR guy, for shatz and gaggles, I typed in “most expensive bcg ever” and that is what came up.

You see, my comrades and I would never ask these kind of questions, our AKs BCGs are what they are and are good at what they are.

Don't get me wrong, there are those who buy this kind of AK bling for $2500 just like there are those who spend $300 on a BCG.

$2500 for that is insane. I had hard time shelling out $999 on that snazy colt I talked myself into buying last night. But $2500 for a rifle that originally cost $1000 is insane. I guess you AK guys are hardcore

I wouldn’t say hardcore. If someone showed up with that at my range then i’d try to sell him / her mine for a pretty penny.

Its like this, AK owners are like diesel owners loud and obnoxious but will run a million miles. AR owners are like regular gas owners arguing about which one is better, toyota, honda, mercedes,, and then there is the colt cult, they are like democrats in California driving their identical teslas and hating everyone who does not agree with them that there teslas are the best.

Are Toolcraft Bolt carriers marked in any way? What marking do other manufactures use?
I have a variety of bolts that I have bought from PSA, Primary Arms, Midway and Brownells, that I would like to know the original manufacturer of.

Back when Jug Ears was president, I picked up a lightweight BCG from Faxon for about that much. This one is $350ish. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...ampaign=Itwine JP makes some that cost even more. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...aspx?rrec=true For a fast race gun with minimal weight and recovery, my Faxon works pretty well.
