    Congrats!

Thurmont is about 1 hour 15 for me. I think Anne Arundel Fish and Game is the closest for both of us. Sanners is to far for this old phart.

Do you typically have to be a member at clubs to shoot their events?

I'm planning on joining QSC..Quantico Shooting Club, but I have access a little more than the average joe....

No, if the event is open to the public.

Back when I was considering joining a club I overheard chatter between a few guys saying that some folks like to go to public shoots and never bother to join a club. I gathered their point was that the shooting community needs support no matter what club you join...just join.

I'd love to join the local club I just shot at. Associate membership initiation fee = $1500, $400 annual fee. :sad20:

I had a good time. The new shooter class was really good. About half of us were new shooters (for IDPA). The match was relaxed and fun and the ROs were helpful.

We had a good turn out today. 25 shooters and plenty of sun. :D

Great to see a large turn out of new shooters.

    See you guys next month!
