This is a timely thread since I am on the hunt for more 30 round magazines. Sportsman's Warehouse in Harrisburg has the Gen M3 window version for $20. Since I'm located closer to Pennsylvania than Virginia, are there any York, PA gun shops that have decent prices on these magazines?

    Apologies for the thread hijack.

Just remember that while possession is OK (for now) in MD, sale, transfer and even offer for sale/transfer is not legal (within the state). You can let your buddy use your std cap mags while you are at the range together, but she can't keep them and you can't bring her a couple to keep when you go shopping in Free America.

I'm pretty sure it is also illegal to use them in the commission of a crime...so don't do that either.

    Expensive.

    And a lot of fun.

    Oh, and heavy. Veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy heavy....:)

Definitely expensive, I only have 1. Their (Surefire) 60 round mags are a bit more reasonable. Both easier/quicker to load than my MagPul drums though.
