    i have been lurking on this forum for a while, and recently had my hql status turn from forever pending to active. i was on another thread, where they were asking for recent hql recipients to post their licence numbers as to help figure out how many hql's were issued this year. i wanted to contribute, since i went active on 12/30. i joined, and blacksmith reached out and suggested i give an introduction. and here i am.

    fairly new shooter, and always, always looking to learn more about equipment, training, safety, laws, etc.

    Love your tipples, but don't discount a good blend.

    I am liking the Johnnie Walker Double Black quite a bit. Nowhere near as hearty as Lagavulin 16, but still damn tasty at less than half the price.

    you're absolutely right. i can get caught up sometimes, forgetting all quality spirits aren't always rare or expensive. i came up on johnny walker black, and i will definitely check out the double.
