I have to admit ... I know NOTHING about AR's, other than what I have learned through watching videos this past week. I'm not familiar with the brand but I know they're here in the U.S. and they seemed to get really good reviews.

    Here's my new Del-Ton Sierra 316.
I'm not crazy about the dark earth furniture but it was the last one in stock and I figured I can always swap it out. I really like the mid-length handgaurd. I took a rode trip today to get mags. ;)

    (sorry for the crappy pic)

FDE furniture on one of my rifles is going to be a thing. That said though, do what suits you man. Where did you go if you don't mind sharing?

FDE is cool. It's just not my thing.
I found the rifle at Atlantic Guns in Rockville.
The staff there was really helpful.

Congrats! Del-Ton has some pretty stand up people. I would frequent the shop in Elizabethtown, NC to buy brass from them years ago.

Congratulations. Get some instruction from a knowledgeable mentor or one of our member instructors. Shoot it a lot as is before considering any changes.
