CCR refinishing?

http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/

Friends highly recommend them. However, they also live close to their shop.

Anyone use this company for refinishing?

I have and been happy with their work, took a well used firearm and brought it back to like new (or better) in appearance.

Sign up for their emails as they often have sales/promos. Been tempted to send some slides back when they have those deals.

Thanks. I've never had a handgun refinished and would like to do the frame and slide. I don't know if they do aluminum frames as they quote steel frames on their site. Seems like refinishing an aluminum frame is tricky business as many places won't do it.

I sent them an email last Thursday and haven't heard back.

They do lots of Beretta and SIG frames so I don't think the Al will be an issue but may limit your coating options. Like most busy shops may take a while for them to get back to you via email. I figure they get worn out by "tire kickers" who ask questions for a year and never send anything in. Frustrating I know though.
