Hooligan #12
As some of you know, I have a thing for a .275 Rigby. Awhile back I bought a bubba'd Spanish Mauser. The stock was pretty crappy and it had the original barrel and sights. It was already chambered for 7mm Mauser so using it for the rifle I wanted seemed to work. I yanked off the stock and worked on all of the cracks and put some cross bolts in it. I stripped it and did some reshaping and finished it with BLO. That will be a work in progress. I had the action rebarreled and the gunsmith stamped it .275 Rigby. I smoothed up the action and blued the barrel. My gunsmith also drilled and tapped for a scope. Now, if the stock holds up I will be thrilled but if not, I will be getting a Richards Microfit. Anyway, here are some pics of how it turned out.
