    Looks like aluminum transfer marks on the barrel. This usually happens when someone uses aluminum barrel blocks. Some people obsess about cleaning and remove flash hiders to clean the muzzle. They often get oriented the wrong way because the aluminum blocks slip and the installer gives up.

    The flats on the Flash Hider appear to have wrench marks too where the tool slipped.
