1. Who makes a good balisong?

Benchmade is the next best thing. I have one with titanium handles, its really nice, and fast too. Not cheap tho.

thought they stop making them..

they are hard to find now... it is expensive if you find one..

I was in 3rd grade when I had my first balisong. Part of the handles were made of cow bone.

i have a benchmade bali i will sell ya! i think its a model 42. no sheath or box. very light use. stored for last 15 years or so. says balisong on one side with the butterfly and benchmade on the other side where the blade swings in the handles. pm if interested

benchmade bali-songs are probably the best quality for a production knife.
spyderco makes a fairly unique looking one in the smallfly (or the larger spyderfly but it is OOP).
for online sales: bladehq.com and gpknives.com are 2 trustworthy sites.
