Bingo! He had absolutely no LE experience when he was running for Sheriff, although he penned a few articles for some unknown LE Magazines. He once ran for County Council President. He twice ran for Congress. He characterizes a prior position on the Board of the defunct Joppatowne Civic Association as being an “elected public official.” He lives within his own fanatasy world. You would think the Sun would vet whose letters they post and weed out the whackos, but since it suits their own agenda I suppose they figure why bother?

If anyone wants a few laughs Google Christopher Boardman and Dagger to locate a March 19, 2018 letter he submitted explaining why he would make a better Sheriff with absolutely no experience. The comments that follow are priceless!

But his campaign signs featured the slogan, "Experience Matters":lol2:

The real issue is IMHO BGOS. Firearm owners are reluctant identify themselves publically. The vocal are not firearm owners, and the new rules apply to "someone else" Once non gun owners meet and get to know owners as their friends and neighbors, and have an honest conversation about why they choose a given firearm, and why they choose to purchase the amount of ammo they choose, the equation changes. The issue now has a face and now affects everybody on a more personal level. Dick Cheney opposed gay rights until his daughter came out as a lesbian. The real decisions aren't going to be made in DC, but in living rooms across the country.

    Of course he did......

Same with likely almost every other single person who can't mind their own business until they realize it has to do with their own children or family.

Lots of real tough guys out there who would "do this or that" if their son decided he didn't like women. Reality is, ....you'll probably love them the same and worry the same or even more.

Moral of that story? The government shouldn't be in our bedrooms or personal business. Old men in politics like Cheney ARE the issue.

If gun violence is that expensive, it makes the option of keeping violent criminals behind bars look much more cost effective. Basically if you keep violent people behind bars until they're 28, it should have a dramatic effect at reducing crime. They should probably see the work the noble proseqi project is doing at compiling a list of crimes committed by repeat offenders before coming after the law abiding.

There you go, throwing logic at the problem once again. :)

    Following all this logic...

Illegals should pay illegal insurance to protect the law abiding tax payers.
