I've been going back and forth for many weeks on what scope to put on my Savage FCP SR in .308. Today I bought a SIG Tango4 FFP MRAD 6-24x50. That should give me some pretty good range.

    Ok scary clown, pics added.

Provided the glass isn't too bad, and the tracking is solid. That should get you out a ways.

I put a Tango 4 on my 6.5-284 Norma (custom Savage). Nice Scope. My only complaint is that the zero stop is a bit awkward to set and the paralax adjustment is a bit stiff. I usually leave the elevation turret at the 1/4 minute mark in the field before I dope up for shots because it's cumbersome to pull the knob up out of the Zero detent to dial up. But all things considered, I am quite pleased. It places 130 grain Accubonds quite precisely across the soy bean fields.
