Can the pistol variant of a CMMG Banshee be used in IPSC and/or IDPA PCC matches?
I came across the following rules and wasn't sure since the brace that comes on the pistol can be shouldered.

    IDPA
"1.1 - Rifles permitted for use in PCC must*:
    A. Be semi-automatic.
    B. Use 9 mm, .357 Sig, .40 S&W, 10mm, and .45 ACP pistol caliber cartridges.
    C. Designed to be fired from the shoulder and have a shoulder stock installed."

    IPSC
"5.1.10 The firearm must be fitted with a stock enabling it to be fired from the shoulder (see Rule 10.5.15)."

google is your friend, I am not.
I think that the ATF would have something to say about a pistol "Designed to be fired from the shoulder and have a shoulder stock installed" or "fitted with a stock enabling it to be fired from the shoulder"

    Pretty self explanatory, to me.

Not many ipsc matches around here so I don't know their rules.

Uspsa and idpa clearly define that braced pistols are not allowed.

I'll take the feedback as a clear, unanimous NO.

A pistol variant of the CMMG Banshee in a pistol caliber CANNOT be used in IPSC and IDPA PCC competitions.

You have correctly interpreted the rules, yes. Pay your tax stamp or find a real rifle. :P

I'll say this, it's a LOT easier going around barriers with a PDW than a carbine. Yes, I shot a couple of matches (not for score) and did really well with my CZ Scorpion.
