Nice, thanks! Sucks with limited space, no way could I have a forge.
    Here's another I finished....

Do you have room for one of these?

They can be turned into a forge.

"Rivet" forges don't take up much room.

Some Gas forges are even smaller.

Lots of places to learn real forging (Forged In Fire is not one of them, it makes real 'smiths cringe). Here are a few to get you started.

Thank you for this information. Learning a bit about smithing is one of those things that's been on my list for a while. May check out to see if I can get into an idiot's class. Cheers.

Where are you located? I might know of someone I could recommend.

Here's almost everything I made over the last month!
Bought some large brass bars and damascus bars and have been cutting them down with a hack saw.
Proud of myself, really getting the hang of it! 5 of the knuckles are copies of antique and famous knuckles in museums including the Abraham Lincoln knuckles(black center left), and Winston Churchill's bodyguard's knuckles upper right. Going to add a damascus knife blade to the lower left brass one, WWII style.

The Moran museum in Middletown will occasionally host a class and whilst not a forge class, but rather stock removal, LT Wright Knives In Winterville OH. offers a series of classes where you build a knife from start to finish.

The New England school of metalwork has a beginners forging class which was recommended to me by a good friend who’s a knife maker. He is friends with Nick Rossi (one of the instructors)

Made all of them by stock removal, self taught. Very careful so still have my fingers too.:party29:

Good job on your first. My grandfather made knives and he used industrial hacksaw blades for his blades.
