google is your friend, I am not.
Don't get mad at me because you forgot there are very few 5.45 manufacturers being imported and this topic was apparently discussed already in a thread without Tula or Rostech in the Title...

Going back to post #5 you said

    Not sure if serious...

That means more people will be buying the ammo you like instead which will obviously drive up the cost. :sad20:

Since I don't like 5.45x39, I am not too worried. :) Tula can go bye-bye, I wont miss them.

Seriously, 5.45x39 is a niche market. Only a few companies import it because the civilian market in the US is tiny. Best #s I can come up with, 5.45x39 is <1% of total ammo sales. (7.62x39 is 5%, top 10). Other companies make it, its just not worthwhile to import it. Maybe if Tula gets banned maybe PPU or Century will start importing more.

    And maybe they won't.

You know PPU is brass cased and won't be close to the same price?

You never mentioned where you got the cheap IMI either.

I didn't say where I found cheap IMI, I think you are right.

Well it would be nice if you told us so that the rest of the forum could go buy it...

I think most of us are interested in a great deal. I'm personally skeptical of the claim, but would love to be proven wrong, that would be great for the community. I hope I'm wrong about Tula as well.

    Surely you jest.

That would mean people will be buying ammo I like, less for me. I have been salivating over the chance to pick off after Christmas sales for a month. I'll post the deal if/when I am done hoarding it.

If the Republicans were to ever have control of the House, the Senate, and the Whitehouse, these firearm and ammo sanctions could be repealed.

Until then, we'll just have to cross our fingers and pray that once in a hundred years trifecta phenomenon happens.

Then we could take back some of our Second Amendment rights.

I think I missed the sarcasm in there
