The Level 1 coach school is two days of shotgun-specific lessons and practical coaching exercises designed to teach the coach candidate the basics of coaching beginning and intermediate shooters.
Course Schedule:
Day 1: 8:00 - 5:00

USA Shooting Shotgun Master Instructor
Olympic Shooting Coach of the Year 2004
NRA National Coach Development Staff
NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor
NRA Range Safety Officer
NRA Training Counselor
The cost for the course is $200, or $175 if paid in full by January 1, 2018. Registration closes January 27, 2018. $75 deposit due at signup.
Pennsylvania youth coaches (STCP, AIM, etc.) will receive an additional $80 off the cost of our NRA LEVEL 1 SHOTGUN COACH SCHOOL.
Includes: All printed materials, 2-year coaching credentials with the NRA, Range fees, and lunch/refreshments each day.

- Equipment and Gun Fit
- Coaching Ethics and Methodology
- Fundamentals of Shooting: Trap and Skeet
- Fundamentals of shooting: Sporting Clays
- Mental Training
- Training Planning
- Building Quality Programs
- How to Conduct Tournaments
- Live Fire Training on the Field (depending on conditions)
