Bass Pro is the only place I have found to have a decent reloading section within a reasonable driving distance. Whatever I can't find there I order online.

You will find that it is rather expensive buying reloading components locally. Most of us who shoot a lot use the web. Places like Midsouth Shooters Supply, Wideners, Graf and Sons all have good sales. There are many other places that specialize in one product, like lead bullets or coated bullets, where you can also get good deals.

Depending how much you shoot, buying in bulk can result in big savings.

Graf has one of the lower standard hazmat fees ($20). Look for free hazmat shipping deals - Midway and Natchez have them from time to time.

    Online, here are some:
Recob's, Third Generation, Powdervalley, RMR Bullets
    MidsouthShooters, there are some others.

Buy in bulk if and when you can.
    Look for deals.

Another thing to do with ordering online. Get together with a few other shooters and pool your orders.

Some place charge hazmat per order, not per package.

Am I wrong in saying Powder Valley pricing comes out cheaper than most?? At least my last couple orders/comparisons came out that way.

I find that if I place a large order with powder valley that I save enough on his lower powder, primer, and bullet prices to make the hazmat less of an issue. For example, some places prices may be 25-28/lb where PV may be 19-21/lb. If you order say 6 lbs at $4 cheaper than other places, 6 lbs recovers the hazmat. Bass pro is expensive and I have stopped shopping there.
Nations gun show is a good place as noted above. Shop around as prices can vary quite a bit.

I went to a show in Fredrick and have talked to others and they don't have squat for reloading. I drive up to PA and get all my stuff or from other people. Like I said depends what you looking for

A drive up to Shyda's will solve a lot of issues with getting components.

It seems that the MD shows have limited powder and primers.

+100 on Shyda's. Don't just drive for the components, take the wife and kids and have some Amish food and ride the steam train in Lancaster. Doing it this way makes it fun for the family and an easier drive. ;)

You can order powder and primers from BassPro online and ship direct to the store and avoid the hazmat fee. You can also call about an hour before you go to the store and they will put it at the front desk, so you don't have to wait in line.

Powder For Handguns - Unique, Bullseye and 2400. Powder for rifles - H335, W748. Primers of course and good deals on bullets. I see Midway has pretty good sales on bullets but the hazmat fee for powder and primers make it better to buy local I think.

Midway prices have been going up since they did away with the FFL discounts. Midsouth Shooters Supply has better everyday bullet prices especially on their varmint nightmare line, which BTW, shoot very well in AR15's.

no not wrong, the more you order "within" their limits it does, Recobs has some deals once in a while if you buy in bulk, WW231, Bullseye, 3rd Gen, Midsouth also has some good sales, and as much as I despise FB, picked up some .45 cal HST 230gr. bullets in bulk. Shop around.
