Ok cleaning my basement to make room for my new reloading area I stumbled on 3 cases of poker chips. Probably 1500 chips total.

If any poker players want in feel free to enter a post. To make it interesting let us know the most you have ever won/lost gambling. You answer can be that you don't gamble too.

I select the winner Sunday 1/15 at 9 pm by random number generator.

Only conditions are you've got to meet me in the Within 15mi of the Ellicott City area or AGC. Also got to have at least 50 post.

    Good Luck.

Is it wrong that I only want to be in so I can use them at targets? Lol

Don't typically gamble. Last time I played cards I lost $20. That was the buy in.....could marriage count as a gamble? If so that number could rise.

Won over $1800 playing 3 card poker in Vegas(I think it was 3 card, you get three cards and can use the dealer's cards as well). Got a straight flush and was playing the six card bonus.

I beat a buddy, heads up, with a 5 deuce off suit to win the whole shebang at an informal tournament. About 2 weeks later we were heads up again and I beat him with a 4 deuce off suit to win it all. He was pissed. Combined between both, I won about 300 bucks.

    Not in though.

Not the most I have ever won but my most recent was at Horseshoe in Baltimore.

Was leaving Baltimore a couple weeks ago and stopped by. Had $25 on me and walked up to the craps table before hitting the ATM. Toss out $20 for a $10 hopping hard 6 and $10 hopping hard 10. Guy rolls the dice and hits a hard 6. I take both to $50 each. Next roll is a hard 10. Another $50 each. Guy rolls an 8. I head home.

Approx $1600 won in less than 3 minutes. Gambling is entertainment for me. Go with a budget and have fun. For every decent win I can name 20 times that I lost quickly.

In. Most I've won is a few hundred dollars on a penny slot. I was running out of money so I stopped hitting max bet. I hit the jackpot twice in a row. If I had played max bet it would have been 10 grand each hit.

Not in but have a good story. My best friend was in Vegas with his brother and his parents. (He met Laron Profit-former Terp, on the flight out there.) His brother won 300K. The casino was throwing free stuff at them left and right. $5,000 Visa gift cards and a bunch of other stuff. Best part was they flew them all back on a private charter Lear jet. My buddy called Laron before they left and he flew home with them.

Cool! I'm in. Thanks! I've won a few hundred bucks from time to time in poker, blackjack, or roulette. Probably lost just as much as I've won over the years too. All in good fun though.

I'd be in if it weren't too far away.

We don't gamble $ but recently taught the kids to play blackjack, poker (texas holdem and regular) etc and they are loving it.

Don't have enough chips to keep up :)

    Excellent karma! Not in.

However, I played my first hand of poker in months yesterday, a home tournament where I absolutely slaughtered the competition. Most of it was luck. First orbit of the night I flopped a pair and the nut flush draw. The turn brought my flush, and gave two pair to both of my opponents. Neither of them believed me when I jammed the river. Tripled up inside of 10 minutes and never came close to losing the chip lead. Spent the rest of the evening making plays against shorter stacks when prudent and either folding them out because they didn't want to re-buy, or getting max value when they had the second best hand.
