I'm all in. Ready to testify and make my voice heard this upcoming year. I felt like I missed my calling last year. I watched everything go down online. I can't sit back this year and let the MGA walk all over us. I just got MSI newsletter with a brief rundown of what to expect from the gun grabbers. I read last year basically what needs to be done to testify, how early to show up to sign up to testify, etc. I am going to need a brief primer on what to do this year, where exactly to meet on site, etc. I know the session starts on January 8th but I don't know what the agenda is yet. I am prepared to take how ever many days off to testify for all gun bills well knowing that I might be arriving in Annapolis at 6am and will not leave until 4am the next morning.

I want advice from the board. What do I need to do to prepare outside of my 2 minute speech per bill, pack a lunch, dinner, meet up with my fellow "will not comply" companions and consult with my local delegates beforehand to get the point across that I am sick and tired of the MGA moving the F'ing goal post on us law abiding gun owners. I REFUSE TO BE MADE A CRIMINAL!

I am preparing for war of words this year. I'm in. I know who the seasoned board members are. Give me some advice my friends. It is early enough for me to begin preparation. Even though we don't exactly what the proposed sills will be, I need some guidance.

My only advice is that if the Chairman gives instructions to "speak your mind", its a trap. If you do speak your mind, prepare to be escorted out.

I plan to speak my mind. F the tyrannical cowards.

You'll get more information after the new year. Normally, they bin all the firearm bills into one day, but there have been rumors of attempts to spread them out - to dilute our efforts.

Top priority is to testify against bills you oppose, for those you support. We tend to put all of our effort into defense, I think we need to put some on offense as well. The 683rd testimony against a bill doesn't add much, the 6th for a bill adds a lot.

Expect to get two minutes. Keep it brief. Keep it practical. If you have a unique qualification or perspective, use it.

More power to you. Someone needs to do it. I am fed up but I am going to do my best to handle it professionally.

Spread out to dilute efforts..... those sneaky bastages. I will be there every day for the gun bills. I did not necessarily give the offense approach any thought. I plan on writing down my testimony and practicing, making sure that I make the best full use of my 2 minute time frame.

The " Offense " Bills tend to be all the same Bill , albeit with each sponsor using different fine print for the same goal . The favoring testimony strategies are basically the same for each .

Is there any info from MSI that has a sneak peek of what to expect from MGA in the 2020 session? I have not found anything yet

I don't think anyone knows. After last year, things might quiet down. I expect Virginia to be the major battlefield of 2020.
