Ya know how you thought you knew what was in the closet, until you didn't? Dad showed me these today after saying, "I'm sure I showed you these." These came from the same person as the 1911 from the other thread.
First one is I think a 'Henry Trade Rifle'. Don't know much else yet. It does have a hexagonal bore similar to a Whitworth, measures about 3/8".
This one is really cool I think. Thought it was a shotgun, but it is a .52 caliber rimfire. It is a Joslyn model 1864, US marked, made for the Civil War I believe. Only made about 15k of them and being a single shot became obsolete pretty quickly.
