Drove down yesterday. Ammo was selling quickly. AR style rifles were plentiful and hadn't gone up...yet. Decent selection of C&R stuff, not too overpriced. It was pretty crowded. Went there instead of Frederick since its a shorter drive for me. I'll probably go back to the next one...

I agree, this was a good show. There was a good crowd, but it's not half as bad as Chantilly. I got in without a wait and had no problem navigating the rows and getting attention from the vendors. Prices seemed a little high, but not by much and I know that the vendors were willing to negotiate. I heard several good counter offers just walking through. I did not see any Maryland vendors though, so I don't have a clue if anyone there would facilitate a transfer for regulated guns.

The word I got from some locals is that the upcoming show (Dixie Classic, Dec 1 and 2) is the better show.

I usually get down to this show once or twice a year. Not this time...
My buddy actually pulled a rare M91/30 out of a crate and paid $107 for it.

Imagine pulling a true Hungarian m91/30 ex-sniper from the depths of the of the refurb crate :D

BIGTIME luck of the draw
