    In the boonies of MoCo
    .... for the better!

They're looking at bringing MoCo in line with state law allowing bow hunting within 50 yards of occupied buildings with the exception of schools when in session. It's going through the public safety committee right now, but it seems like it's a move in the right direction.

Might be worth e-mailing the committee with your support for the bill.

There are state laws which do not match the county laws. As I skim over the legislation, the bill is to make the 2 agree.

I think the problem right now is that if you were to hunt within 150 yards, you would currently be in violation of a county code. County officers would be the one to enforce (they likely are not enforcing it). DNR I would think would be referencing State laws and what is in the hunting regs.

    IANAL
