Handgun roster petition

How can we find out The handgun roster petition was approved or not?
ie: Today 's meeting. Or we have to wait until the next site update (8/7/17).

It'll get printed in the next issue of the Maryland Register.

You can check MD Register On Line. it comes out every two weeks so check next couple issues. it's under Maryland State Police. I just search the PDF for Maryland State Police for the list.

Or call Marlene Jenkins at the Roster Board

There is a delay even if it is approved. The length of which, I am not sure 30 days I think. Somebody will set me straight.

It is 30 days after being published in The Maryland Register. if the next publication is two weeks after the approval, then it's 6 weeks.

I asked the Roster Secretary about that 30 day delay. She said after the meeting, the results are sent to "Annapolis for their comments, if any". After the
30 days, the list is updated and made available on the MSP web site.

"Annapolis" means the MD Register. By law they have to allow 30 days for public comment after it's published. Then if no objections it is added to the list

I can't wait until I add the ATI MP40 9mm in my collection. That is my dream gun when I was a kid.

This would be awesome!!! The gun is pretty cool and some of them come with a collectible wood crate for the gun.

I 've just checked the MSP website, they move the next roster update to 8/21 (from 8/7). Anyone know why?

I can only speculate, but this time of year a lot of people are on vacation. Maybe not a quorum.

FYI, the roster additions approved in June 22nd are out in the register today: http://www.dsd.state.md.us/MDR/4415/Assembled.htm#_Toc488231583

it will go on the roster sometime (best guess) early Sept: comments are accepted until Aug 21; the new roster will be published in the MD register after that (either Sept 1 or 15th).

Omni lock, MD approved, locks from the chamber with a wrench.

I look at the approved list from the last meeting, I don't see the ATI Mp40 9mm on that list. That means it was NOT approved ????? and why? :mad54:

might want to call or email. Maybe since it was not a caliber or model update, they needed the firearm and did not have it.

Do you guys know when they'll update the roster? It's showing Aug 21, 2017 on the schedule; but I don't think it's been done yet. Is a delay like this common?
