Anybody shoot at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays?

I maybe able to shoot there Friday afternoon. Some of there instruction say to arrive 2 hours early which means by 3 since they close at 5. Does it take 2 hours to shoot AT 100 targets there? How crowded are they typically on a Friday afternoon?

Never been to Leigh, but my experiences at most of the ranges I've been to is to plan 1.5 to 2 hours for 100 Sporting Clays targets. It usually takes me an around an hour to do 50, especially if I'm walking.

Weekdays are not generally too busy.

My brother and I and some friends go there about 3 to 4 times a year. It is the best Sporting Clays range I have ever shot at! We usually have five or six people with us and we don't rush. We start at 8AM and get done 100 birds by 1200. If you are shooting by yourself, it will go a ot faster.

They have three skill levels from beginner to expert. You get a card for the machine and then either walk or golf cart around to the different shooting positions. The stands are used for all three levels and the color codes show what will be thrown for each color. They have bused in groups so I would call them before you go and tell them what you want to do and they'll let you know when to get there.

They sell hot dogs and soda if you want a bite to eat. There is also a Five Guys in the town nearby.

It is a great experience. :party29:

I don't anything about the times, but my son who lives in PA shoots there regularly. He loves the place. I've always wanted to go, but for some reason we can't get our schedules to work.

Pretty standard for a last squad out callout.

First time I'd probably show up that 2 hours early then see how flexible they really are. Some places don't care even if it's written down and others start getting really anxious when people are still shooting 15 minutes before close.

Thanks all for the replies. Looks like I'm not going to make it there this afternoon, and when doing something like this why rush. Will try to get there during the week in the fall, make a day of it sounds like a better plan.
