So ? Trump was for the AW ban. Before he was against it. Or after he was against it. Nobody can really tell.

If you want to see the 2nd amendment traded for a tax cut, vote Trump.

If you want to see the 2nd amendment completely read out of the constitution for at least a generation, Heller overturned, and want the Supreme Court to rubber stamp Hillary's corrupt agenda, vote Hillary or 3rd party.

Truth be told it won't matter whom we in MD vote for we know clinton will get the electoral college votes from MD. But the country's fate will rest in the hands of those from but a few states.:sad20:

OC is not what you would think it is in this particular case.
The OC they are referencing is the OPEN CARRY that you can legally do in Maryland. Open Carry of Long Guns......

So rank and file police support gun control and illegal emergency suspension of the constitution??? Good to know!

Only if it threatens their working conditions. Then it's o.k.

    you forgot the :sarcasm:

Maryland has no open carry of long guns at protests. Too much like slaves revolting.

Cant wait to see how Frosh handles a black panther open carry rally. moustache=blown

OC in Philly has always required a permit. Has nothing to do with the convention. That said, if you have the permit, which is a conceal carry permit, why would you OC in Philly anyway.

Not for or against oc but as a matter of record and fact a Pensylvania permit is a Licensed to carry a firearm not a concealed carry permit

No, that is NOT LGOC as allowed in Md. In Md firearms are prohibited from political demonstrations.

Then one has to ask, what makes a demonstration political? Is a 2A rally political? I don't think that is necessarily true.

Kasich was never a friend of 2A. Look who he's teaming up with in 2020

Colorado Governor Hickenlooper Admits to Regrets over Anti-gun Legislation

I don't believe that a leopard can change it's spots, but political chameleons tend to blend in for their mutual survival. Both of these 'lizards' need to be primaried.

The Trump base is pretty solid, and would not be interested in these guys. It might garner more interest from Democrats, and some in between, which might actually make Trump's percentages look better. The more Democrats are divided, the better Trump does.

    Bring it on.

Yes, perhaps he has heard about this document called the Constitution.

    Imagine that.

    So much for that...
'If you're a strong Second Amendment person you need to slow down and take a look at reasonable things that can be done,' Kasich said Sunday on CNN
'This is a great opportunity for commonsense steps that can be taken just in the area of background checks,' he said. 'There should be no ability to do a casual sale without somebody having to find out who they're selling the gun to and what is involved.'
In Ohio, Kasich said, he's formed a committee to look at potential moves, including 'full background checks,' how to handle people that have, as Kasich put it, 'emotional problems,' and a potential bump stock ban.

Looks like a little Chris Christie rubbed off on him.
'I was talking to a friend of mine this morning, he's a big collector. I said, "If all of the sudden, you couldn't buy an AR-15, what would you lose?"' Kasich said, referencing the gun Nikolas Cruz used in the latest massacre and one that has often been used in the mass shooting around the country in recent years.

'Would you feel as though your Second Amendment rights would be eroded because you couldn't buy a God-darn AR-15?' Kasich continued.
    Uhh yeah!!! :mad54:
