If you are coming to the Easton show, better bring your woolen skivvies. I just took the dog out and it is 25*.

I'll be at the Cracker Barrel just over the bridge on 50 from about 0815 if anyone is stopping in for a bite. Look for a guy with a Viet Vet hat and green coat.

I just got back from the show. There was a "evil black rifle" dealer with uppers and lowers for those of you interested. There were a couple of guys with great deals on powder. 748 was going for $20 a pound. T7 was $20 a pound, too bad I am stocked up. I was able to sell the muzzleloaders I brought to the show but didn't see anything that I really wanted. There were plenty of good prices on .22 bolt action rifles. Lots of C&R stuff both handguns and long guns.

I just got back home. I think I did alright today. Two big tickets today we're a spam can of 7.62x39. 550 rds. And a .50 beowulf upper and mag. Guy even thru in a box of ammo for free. All in all, a good day for a show.

Similar to last year's show. I was there at the building already so at least I made my $8 donation.
I eyeballed a Krag Rifle but not knowing what I was looking for in it, did not spend too much time on it.
There were a number of Trapdoor Springfield that were interesting.

Here’s why I love this little show and go every year.

Almost, almost bought a really nice Colt Detective .38 Sp. revolver, 1960s or 70s vintage, from a walk-around seller for $400 but passed because it was missing the original grips. Turns out a vendor at the show had the correct grips for the Colt, but when I circled back to find the seller and negotiate, he had sold the Colt to the vendor with the grips who made the switch and put it right back in the table for $650!

Bought a used soft rifle case and a new handgun case for $15 total, and a nifty Smith & Wesson “Border Guard” knife with auto glass punch and seat belt cutter for $7. Nice!

Picked up a set of police trade-in handcuffs made by the Peerless Company for a never-seen price of $5. (I am a licensed security officer). These cuffs are usually $25-$35 at the big gun shows.

Prepper Buy Of the Day: an emergency escape breathing hood that supplies 15-20 minutes of air from a built in oxygen generator. Made by the Scott Co.—maker of most firefighter air mask systems...for $2! Would come in handy if an accident or terrorism attack filled a Baltimore tunnel with deadly smoke.

Nice haul for less than $30! (And still kicking myself about passing on that Colt).
