It's mostly camera angle I think. He's probably only a two year old deer.

I snuck out for a couple hours before date night and jumped a nice buck on the way in. Didn't get a real good look, so I don't know if it was my buck from yesterday or not I guess I'll sit a while and see what happens

It's a fairly wide angle camera, so that may make him look smaller.
I've never seen him before, and I've had cameras near where this one is for two years.
I'm going to put some Wildgame Innovations Acorn Rage near that camera and another one not far away and see if I can get him again.

Got my second buck of the year this morning. It was all quiet on my stretch of the mountain all morning until 10:00 when this one stepped out about 35 yards in front of my blind. He made it about 10 yds then stopped and dropped.
