Add another Rehaif related GVR today: 19-6684 Davis v. US. Davis was convicted as a felon in possession. The second QP reads:
Should certiorari be granted and the case remand for reconsideration in
light of Rehaif v. United States, 139 S.Ct. 2191 (2019), because the government did not
endeavor to make the required showing of petitioner’s knowledge of his prohibited
status and the jury was not instructed on the knowledge element?

Warning From Alito Hangs Over Felony-Gun Possession Appeal

    https://www.courthousenews.com/warning-from-alito-hangs-over-felony-gun-possession-appeal/

Some insight why we have not been seeing the court take on new 2A cases.

Justice Samuel Alito warned in a dissent at the time that “tens of thousands of prisoners,” many of whom pleaded guilty, would now have cause to appeal their convictions.

Justice Stephen Breyer echoed these concerns Tuesday.

“I fear that we start getting into the rule-making business in this area – what you can look at and what you can’t. Do you see what I’m afraid of? A mess, in other words,” he said.
