    Cost

When I started handloading in 1974 you could handload for half the price of factory ammo. As I see primers for $1700/5000, powder hitting $40/lb and same for bullets, have we gotten to the point it is no longer cost effective to do it? I’m seeing factory ammo far cheaper than what I can handload it for. Vendors are pricing themselves out of the market and they are the ones who set the prices for the most part. I know there are much higher prices out there. I also see a few at normal prices. I for one am making a list of vendors that I will never do business with even after/if things settle down.
