Gotcha games- if any of those lost to the bay were handguns then they got you with violation of FSA And not reporting it lost/stolen within 48 hrs......

ATF does say that manufacturers/importers cannot repeat serial numbers.

But, that would be on the same exact firearm.

How many of your 80% builds have been exactly the same?

So you have one of each model. Each one being serial number 1, since it is the first one just like that one.

    :D

One wonders if the denizens of the GA realize that there is NO place in this state that is more than one hour's drive from the state border.

It's starting. Bet you start to see a bunch more come up around the country.
Now don't get me wrong, selling them is illegal
"Lam is bringing in parts of guns from out of state and using them to assemble assault rifles with no serial numbers - also known as “ghost guns” - in his apartment and selling them over the Internet."

**but my point is that you will start to see unserialized or home built guns associated with illegal activity to form opinion to help with bans***
The tie in of a legal activity to an illegal activity to ban the entirety of the activity is what we are going to be seeing with 80% guns

watch if you don't see more news articles (news tends to bandwagon) about 80% guns. The purpose is to sway the opinion so more people get on board with a ban.

Think news isn't out to form public opinion as opposed to reporting on it? Think again!

In absence of today's illegal infringements, the man in Southington might simply be called a gunsmith.

    Could not agree more..

At the end of the day the gov wants >>>
But he needs to be licensed...recorded serials..licensing fees.....tax of income.....gov needs to hire people to oversee this...need to have people to enforce this.....need to collect tax to pay them...(I wrote this fast and left out a ton)

Seems like this is about power, gov growth and money...

Good thing I am buying 79% lowers.

It is SO tempting to take a block of aluminum and drill the proper holes in the proper places, and make an AR that has a giant raw aluminum rectangle in the middle of it, just to show how stupid the whole discussion is.

You could also make one out of wood.
