Most likely. We always replaced barrels at 10k.
That's what I always heard was the benchmark in most cases. 220 Swift and 264 Win Mag even sooner.

from a Wilson dvd i watched a while back, believe he said to use oil unless there are signs of wear and then to use lube in those spots. myself i pretty much just oil everything, using wilson gun oil for the most part. i pretty much clean my guns after each match, so oil doesn't sit around or get worn out or off to make much of a difference i think.
Wow. .220 Swift,.264WM , and .357Sig bbl life in the same sentance.
i dont normally discuss lubing my semi online
You quoted Blaster 229's statement about Sig229's chambered in .357Sig .
That someone probably had close to a million rounds under this belt. Believe me, you get tired of shooting.I don't know who said what about what...but I heard a part of a story about someone who shot a whole lot of rounds, then stopped because they got tired of shooting. That makes me sad...and maybe a little jealous...but sad that someone would feel tired of shooting

Shoot 4000 rounds in one day. You'll hate it.I guess it's possible...just like I guess there are pornstars out there thinking, "Man I'm tired of blowjobs..."
I don't think I'll get to that point...in either case
