Just got home and opened it up. Nice original finish 1944 receiver with clean stamp. 11/43 SA barrel MR-0, TR-1 and a really nice USGI walnut stock cleanly marked S.A. N.F.R. with cross cannons. That really made this a good score, the stock is in pretty good shape overall and probably work a good bit.

Nice rifle , I do not beleive its original finish. While the parkerizing does appear old it was probably refinished during its last rebuilt

I'm pretty pleased! Nice heal stamp, 1-65 SA barrel, IHC op rod and everything pretty much SA. The stock is numbered to the receiver and there is a label on the barrel Channel that matches too, which I think is Dutch?

    Danish. Nice rifle!
Here's a thread firing line forum that explains the sight settings on the sticker.

Thank you! I don't know much about USGI stuff. My focus has always been on South American contract Mausers and Finnish rifles so I have no idea whether this is a solid score or not. Overall, I'm happy. It should make a great shooter.

Rifle looks great, the stock is light in color. Only bad thing I see is the serial number stamped into the stock does not match the guns number.

I was fortunate enough to get one of the winchesters also. I too have the same sticker in mine. Also my stock matches my gun. If I can figure out how to post pics from an iPhone I will.

Either way I think you received a great addition to your collection.

Yep, I just noticed the mismatch last night. I failed to look closely. Oh well, it will still be a great shooter. I think anyone will be hard pressed to find a service grade WRA for $930 shipped, so I don't think I will ever do better.

A quick question for those that completed mail in orders, are you charged sales tax on your purchase? I picked up my service grade Winchester at the south store and I had to pay 10% sales tax. I'm thinking about the current FG Winchesters and I'm trying to decide.
