Strange and wondrous weaponry -- gotta say, that . . . . I think about AKs the same way I think about Yugos and TRDs...
Wondering if there are any BAR owners in this group?

Personally, I think it is totally useless. At 1675 RPM , It is more a danger to me than my adversary. It is hard to control and empties the mag in a fraction of a second.

then give it back. never again am I going to let you use my toys.

I had an opposite opinion. While they are fast, after a couple mags I was settling in an was able to get short burst all on target and I was able to group fairly well. More trigger time on one and I would feel comfortable using one. Chances are it would be used as a semi auto. But having the switch would be a comfort.

I do agree that mag dumps are a waste of ammo and are very hard to control.
