Several years back another place tried that. Off hand, forget which, thinking southern. MAYBE Like TN or something. Didn’t pass, iirc. Same will happen here. IMO.

Even if it doesn't pass, it will educate some low-info folks about the concept. Openning peoples' eyes is important.

In Maryland we’d all be issued our own cop since there’s almost no place safe in central Maryland.
I've got a bad back... I don't think I could manage carrying a cop around everywhere... an LCP is much easier.

Seems like a good enough reason for me. Not to disparage cops or other LEOs but I think most gun owning civilian markmanship is probably better overall

Law should be firearms allowed everywhere. If you don’t want in your business/government property then you take responsibility for your customers protection
