1895 Chilean Mausers- did not want to just put in water cooler.

I have never heard of OWS-Ammo.com Martinsburg.

https://www.ows-ammo.com/1895-chilea...tioned-grade-1

We have a very small quantity of original 1895 Chilean Mauser long rifles that have been professionally restored by Navy Arms, the oldest name in military collectible firearms, using the original 19th and early 20th Century techniques for arsenal reconditioning. Every part on every gun has been hand-cleaned, sanded and lightly polished to bring the metal back to as close to its factory original finish as possible, including the original brass muzzle covers. All guns are in 7mm Mauser (7x57) and have bores that show wear and light pitting. All guns are complete with the exception of the rear sight slide. This is a rare and unique opportunity to own an original pre-1898 Antique Mauser rifle of this quality and condition. We have 2 grades of guns, this model is Grade 1. Grade 1 have stocks with no visible cracks at all.

Ha! Screw that for almost $1,000. Plenty of excellent looking non-dicked with Chilean’s out there for less than half that much.

Wow. They look like they were pretty rough before the reblue. I bet the bores aren't great and no mention of matching #s. In the days of Sweaty Ben, who knows, maybe they'll sell a couple.

-This is all part of the Val Forgett "empire". He bought Navy Arms and Old Western Scrounger, adding them to the Gibbs Rifle family. If you go to the huge MACA show in Timonium and run across a table of reworked crap just look at the name badges of the folk manning the tables and I guarantee one of them will have Val's name on it. I still don't know why MACA rents tables to them as they are the antihesis of everything a serious collector believes in. Can't remember a single time I've glanced over the contents of their table and not found everything to be humped and of dubious quality. When you look up the phrase caveat emptor the Gibbs Family pops up.
-It's kinda the C&R version of the TV show Junkyard Empire.

Alan's Armory has some more modestly priced Chilean Mausers, but also in more worn condition:

Poor bluing over pitted metal just looks terrible. Would rather have original worn finish.

To answer your original question, OWS-Ammo.com (Old Western Scrounger) is another DBA for the owner of Navy Arms, and is co-located in the same building.

I bought a lot of mo3A3 parts from them in Wva a few years ago.
The inside of their building was reminiscent of a bunch of adverts from years gone buy.
Everything was for sale including a bunch of Navy arms lever guns that never sold.
