    If the court wants to be arbitrary, though - they can say that "smart" handguns fall under the class of guns called handguns. Since the smart gun POS is available, a class of guns in common use (handguns) are not banned.



    It's complete BS, but then, look at Woollard.


    Didn't Woollard directly violate Heller by saying because you have long gun carry that bear arms is satisfied?

    No it has to be in dealer inventory. The law is specific on that.

    Where does it say that.... and again there are pics of it in inventory in California but I saw no where on the bill that it stated must be in a retailer inventory it days deemed for retail sale.... it does not say when a retailer had it on inventory

For the purposes of this section, personalized handguns shall be deemed to be available for retail sales purposes if at least one manufacturer has delivered at least one model of a personalized handgun to a registered or licensed wholesale or retail dealer in New Jersey or any other state.

    Weinberg said she would introduce a bill to repeal the law if the NRA backed off. I don't believe her one bit but they are seeing that the NJ law is actually hindering smart guns. They should repeal the law and if the market wants smart guns they will sell. But a $1300 .22 with a goofy $500 watch isn't it.
