Been considering full-auto for a while. I’m a big fan of sub-guns as they suppress nicely and are generally affordable, as far as MG’s go. Uzi seemed to me the logical choice. Then I started looking at options for the M11/9. Lage slow-fire upper. .22 upper. Soon to be 5.56 upper. That did it. I can get a Cobray M11/9 with all of the above AND an Octane 9 for the cost of an Uzi.

Some Devil around here sold me the M11/9 today.

    Very excited.

I was dancing with the devil back in April, got my all stuff together, had the deal worked out, prints, photos ready to go. THEN.....
The tax man cometh and screwed me bad.

    Congrats George...

Uzi is a GREAT choice! My personal favorite!
Best quote I've ever seen about Uzi's....

"What about an UZI? They are available and still not crazy expensive (not counting the Mini UZI). Mine is built by Vector and runs like a top. Had some teething pains but it now runs 100% after a couple hundred rounds. Magazines and spare parts are plentiful and cheap. Built and handles like a brick. Way too heavy. Ergonomics suck and the grip feels like a 2x4. I love the UZI."

Except I got the M11/9 because of all the aftermarket stuff.

Good reason to go with M11/9. Lots of upgrade options and I'm sure there are more coming. Here are a couple of M11a1's with Lage uppers. The same setups in the M11/9 would be about 2" longer. The Uzi is shown for size reference. The Max31a is my favorite upper. It uses the Suomi drums. The ergonomics on the Uzi are easily improved by adding a solid stock and pistol grip. That is still one of my favorite subguns to take to the range.
